Open Waters Podcast

This podcast is all about what God is doing in Utah through the church, and through the ministry of Open Waters Worship. If you don't know who we are, we are a worship ministry in the heart of Salt Lake City, Utah who's reason for being is JESUS. We want all people to have GROWTH, not only in relationship with our King, but with the people around us as well. We also want people to cultivate a deep and pure INTIMACY with God, and from that intimacy a FREEDOM to be who we are called to be; and to top it off we want the body of Christ to radiate UNITY. The body as a whole can accomplish so much more than one person alone. So we want to ask you, are you ready to join us in an effort to unify the body, and grow in relationship? Hey there,

I'm Josiah, haha, you probably figured that out by now, but I'm here to tell you again.

I am the founder of Open Waters Worship and the Leader of it! Gods blessed me and I'm here to bless others as well with the gifts God has given me, whether that be through the gift of finances, music, leadership or something else, to whom much is given much is required, so im here to heed to the will of God, and give Him all the glory along the way!

If you dont know me, i am a software engineer by day, and a musician by night, and I love to relax and hang out, even if hanging out means doing nothing. Im a gamer (if you didnt guess that from me being a software engineer) and a song writer! Music on spotify will drop sometime in 2024!

I love the lord with all my heart and He is my first love. I yern to be in His Presence all day and He always makes time for me! I can't express the love I have for Him, or give Him all the glory that He is due. So join me!

I love to worship! Seeing people experience the presence of God is one of my greatest joys in life. It’s amazing to me that when we spend time in HIS PRESENCE we are changed. When we bring him our sacrifice of praise and thanksgiving, He gives us all we ever wanted and needed: HIM! Worship shifts and changes lives, worship is warfare and worship is SHALOM: wholeness and life as it should be. I started with plays and musicals as a young girl, as well as leading worship and teaching at kids church and VBS, singing in choirs. I then joined adult choirs and worship teams, leading worship in churches and currently with Open Waters Worship. In addition to worship, my passions include: my family, traveling and experiencing new things, fun and deep connection with friends, event planning, and SOZO: inner healing and deliverance ministry. I have a blended family which includes an amazing husband and 5 children. They are my priority. I am blessed!
